Based on the last section of The Helping Guide of Imam Abdal-Wahid ibn ‘Ashir, this course will provide students with an introduction to the discipline of ihsan, the third dimension of the religion in the well-known hadith of Jibrīl. Students will learn fundamental concepts of spiritual purification and cultivation, the most vital spiritual virtues, and how to apply these practically to cultivate the state of their own souls.
